Hamptons’ Move & Give initiative, in partnership with Doree Bonner International and Mind, makes it easy for our customers to donate unwanted items on the day they move out.
Customers who use the Doree Bonner International removals service have the opportunity to donate unwanted clothes, homeware, entertainment, electronics, and non-perishable foods to local foodbanks and Mind charity shops across London and the south of England as part of the removals service.
As pressure on foodbanks and mental health services intensifies, we want to make it simple for our customers to help others while decluttering.
What can be donated to Foodbanks?
Non-perishable goods that are in date and unopened – such as cereal, tinned goods, pasta, rice, bottled sauces, biscuits, UHT milk, and fruit juice.
What can be donated to Mind?
Clean clothes and shoes in good condition, homeware, records, DVDs, CDs, children’s games and toys, electronics like phones. Please note, Mind cannot accept books, large bulky items or furniture.
If you’re getting ready to move home, speak to your local Hamptons branch about booking a removal.
